The Journey

My experience indicates that recovery from a traumatic brain injury is a life long journey, not an event that occurs.  The ease of the journey is influenced by all of those around you. You, your family , your friends, your caregivers and how you react to the general public. The journey can be hard at times in many different ways. I am often asked if it is a hard journey, my response is yes it is hard and worth every bit of effort. The journey can be eased by everyone with influence focused on a vision that everyday offers an opportunity to be a little better today than yesterday.
